On February 18, 2016, Stacy Mulrooney passed. Stacy was a Legacy Maxon Sales Engineer in Canada and a Sales Manager in Singapore and Shanghai before running our Honeywell/Maxon West Coast Sales Office for many years. The entire organization learned a tremendous amount of burner application knowledge from his experience through the years. More importantly, for those that were fortunate enough to know him well, we learned about true friendship and the joys of life from Stacy. Stacy knew how to enjoy life and get others laughing with him.
Many knew him as the “Burner Whisperer” due to his keen ability to figure out how to make a burner run under the worst of circumstances or turn the ugliest start up into gold. While born in Canada, he loved living in Southern California, so some knew him as the “Caladian.” He wouldn’t mind asking you how much snowfall you were getting as you knew he was sitting next to his orange trees.
Stacy loved animals, especially his dog, Harry. At his wife’s request, if you want to do something in Stacy’s honor, please make a donation to the Orange County SPCA at the following link.
Honeywell and our customers have lost one of the best talents in the business and many have lost a close friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Mary, and his family in this difficult time. It is an understatement to say that Stacy will be missed.
