Canary was a fabulous kitty and a wonderful companion for my mother. She was named Canary when a landlord said the only type of pet allowed would be a Canary so her name was quickly determined at that time and the landlord let it slide. My mom had adopted Canary from the OCSPCA after she had been rescued and had received treatment and surgery for a bad burn injury. She did not have any fur from the neck down for many months but my mom rubbed aloe on her skin and gave her lots of TLC and surprisingly, her fur filled back in very nicely.

Sadly, Canary recently became weak and was then diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer. We were all shocked as she was only about 5 years old and it happened so fast. Canary had a great life although it was way too short. She is loved and missed…       DONATE NOW
